Resources provided by Southern Baptist entities and partners:
Mississippi Baptist Convention Board
“Welcome to the Evangelism page of our Mississippi Baptist website. Know that we are here to help and assist you in any way possible. I believe that Mississippi Baptist’s best days are still in front of us as we seek to find new avenues of sharing Jesus. Would you join me in praying that our Lord would give us a burden for people, the way He was burdened for them, and a boldness to share Him everyday!”
North American Mission Board – Evangelism
“We are commissioned by Jesus to go and share the gospel—and we don’t have to go alone. Having gospel conversations can be an intimidating idea, but we have practical resources to help prepare you and your church to live on mission. We can help you find tools to train your church members to share their faith and proven insights to help you cast vision and create a culture of evangelism.“
Southern Baptist Evangelists
“The Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists is pleased to provide this resource catalogue and online directory of Southern Baptist Evangelists, where you can find information about those who have followed the call of God into the harvest fields of evangelism and revival. The evangelists listed in our directory have received denominational endorsement through the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), and are available for crusades, revivals, rallies, youth events, evangelistic training, conferences and international ministry projects. You may search for evangelists by category (type of evangelism), first or last name, or state to find the right person for your ministry event. Download our new app for Android or iPhone for instant access to our directory on your smartphone!”

Evangelism Explosion International
“Evangelism Explosion is a ministry that trains people how to share their faith in Christ and how to bring people from unbelief to belief. It utilizes a variety of components including prayer, actual on-the-job training where the experienced lead the inexperienced, and the principle of spiritual multiplication. “Multiplication” is the key component, not just winning people to the Lord one-by-one (addition). But training those won to the Lord to win, and then train, others. In the Book of Acts we read that the disciples “multiplied” and “multiplied exceedingly.” This shift from addition to spiritual multiplication offers the one real hope of sharing the Gospel with a world population that is, itself, continually multiplying. On-the-job training is another vital ingredient. By actually going out with experienced trainers in real life witnessing situations, people learn how to share their faith. Much like learning to fly an airplane would be impossible without actually getting in the cockpit, evangelism is difficult without leaving the confines of a classroom.
By learning small parts of the Gospel each week, including Bible verses and illustrations, people incrementally grasp a Gospel tool that becomes a lifelong mission.”
